  • Politics Is Like Hiring A Hitman
    by Scott Woods inPolitical on2020-08-13

For me, politics is like hiring a hitman. I have values and things I care about. I care enough about them to at least bother voting for 5 minutes every year for one issue or another. And because I care at least that much, I vote for people who align with the ability to realize the things I care about.

I believe our vote is the punctuation of our voice. Without that resounding exclamation mark, I believe our voices are just incoherent noise.

  • Living in a Black No-Man's Land
by Roger Madison Jr. inOur Community on2019-10-28

There are many narratives that define the Black experience in America in this 2nd decade of the 21st century. Our striving over the centuries of our sojourn in this nation is a tapestry of every human experience -- oppression, enslavement, forced assimilation, dehumanization, exclusion, segregation, isolation, struggle, perseverance, achievement, excellence, celebration, mourning, despair, progress, setbacks, lynching, assassination, genocide, terror, self-hatred, low esteem, pride,...

  • Fighting Racism
by Scott Woods inOur Community on2018-10-25

I had a boss who was racist. Not an outright bigot, of course; her toolbox was more subtle than most. We bumped heads a lot over inconsequential things. She frequently couldn’t keep my name out her mouth. Lot of gaslighting. You know…2018 style. I tried a lot of ways to combat or navigate her issues. None of them worked, and that’s saying a lot because I’m really good at fighting racism. But at the end of the day – every day – she was my boss, I had to deal with her, and that was that. Finally I...

STOP GRANDSTANDING BLACK AMERICA - PICK UP UNDERCOVER SMART AND READ IT.

Re: The Lack of a Black Agenda

The question is whether there are 2 or 3 major issues about which we agree and on which we can work together across the nation. The NAACP has its agenda; the National Urban League has its agenda; The Nation of Islam has itsw agenda; Al Sharpton has his agenda; Jesse Jackson has his agenda; the Congressional Black Causus has an agenda; the National Conference of Black Mayors has an agenda. What are the common threads in all these agendas?
Thuso

The common threads are:
1. Agenda has presented by the NAACP, National Urban leaugue, Nation of Islam, AL Sharpton, Jesse jackson, CBC or National Conference of Black Mayors are non existent. The aforementioned organizations have mission statements , not agendas.

  2. Their mission statements  only targets specific black people or particular circumstances or conditions.

 3. Their mission statements are not duplicable

UNDERCOVER SMART IS THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE AGENDA BECAUSE:

Undercover Smart targets black America. Undercover Smart is non-fiction. The strategy of Undercover Smart is duplicable. Undercover Smart is written in a book where everyone can read the same, exact and identical agenda and perfect the agenda through practical application in real -time.

Why is it difficult for you or others to simply pick up the book and read it?

Re-examine all you have witnessed and read thus far and you will be enlightened with an revelation that money is not my motivating factor. My mission is in pursuit of the things that money cannot buy. Money is of no use because Courage is the currency of choice.

You are making a mortal mistake by not acquiring the valuable knowledge needed to meet God's challenge.

Whenever you are approached to buy my non-fiction book "Undercover Smart" do not concern yourself that you are enriching the personal coffers of the book seller because it is the inherent nature of books that dictate the beneficial qualities of the transaction.

It is because a book possesses knowledge that the true benefit is always awarded the buyer and not the seller.
