Triple Scented Candles - Sharing Gratitude - Business with a Purpose

Sharing Gratitude, which is a part of The Gratitude Candle Company, has a mission to help find a cure for cancer and to help cancer patients families in need by raising funds through various projects associated with Sharing Gratitude and The Gratitude Candle Company.

Specifically Sharing Gratitude has a strong emphasis towards and a strong passion towards helping St. Jude Children’s Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded by Danny Thomas who was an American nightclub comedian, television and film actor. Danny Thomas is best known for the television sitcom "Make Room for Daddy" and "The Danny Thomas Show".
 
Danny Thomas was a generous philanthropist; however he started out a struggling actor barely being able to provide for his family. Marlo Thomas is the first born child of Danny Thomas’ and the wife of Phil Donahue. Marlo has had an extensive acting career and she is still active with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
 
Danny Thomas went to a church service in Detroit, MI where he experienced the power of prayer. St. Jude is the patron saint of hopeless causes. Danny Thomas prayed to and he asked St. Jude to help him find his way in life and he would build St. Jude a shrine. Although Danny Thomas died on February 6, 1991 his prayer and commitment to serving children and their families who are suffering with cancer lives on through a research center for the children of the  world through individuals, companies, and organizations who share the same mission.
 
Sharing Gratitude along with The Gratitude Candle Company is being deemed "A Business with a Purpose by giving the utmost attention to helping carry out Danny Thomas' mission. Sharing Gratitude provides prayer blankies to children. We at Sharing Gratitude believes that every child would love a special "Blankie" to cuddle with, to drag around, to be wrapped in when sheltered in his or her parents' arms. Together we can be Angels Undercover by making prayer Blankies for children who are in hospitals. Sharing Gratitude's goal is to have at least 5000 blankets completed by early December 2009 or for distribution to children and babies before Christmas.

Jennifer Ballinger started this company making candles in her living room but she knew there was more to it than just starting a candle company. Every 16oz candle that is wholesaled or retailed, $1 dollar will be given to the children’s cancer research hospital. We at Sharing Gratitude knows that there are thousands of people who will want to become a demonstrator so the investment to join is just $20 with no other out of pocket expenses and no monthly fees. Each demonstrator will receive a 40% discount on candles. Although, our mission and vision is focused on Gratitude, giving to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, providing prayer blankies and sponsoring a family, the compensation plan and bonuses are set to help each demonstrator to Make a Living Making a Difference.
