African American voter registration rising

As one who is giving a voter registration drive in my town this upcoming weekend this story made me smile. Although 8 million African Americans were said not to be registered in recent reports a lot is being done at a grassroots level to rectify that problem. A lot of that work is being done by community organizers. You know the people the Republican Party has no respect for as shown at the recent GOP convention.
