Nick was the voice of Brer Bear in Disney's Song of the South and at Disneyland.. He also played the part of Lightnin' on the Amos 'n Andy television show, and was a featured actor, comedian and dancer, on stage, radio, television, and movies. He was selected by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to be a part of their Archive of American Television and he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Beverly Hills NAACP.
