Automobile racing is commonly used to support any claims of superior tire technology.  Fast speeds while hugging the track visuals work in creating product belief.  Bridgestone Corporation decided to launch a series of commercials from a different and more compelling angle.  These 30 second spots focus on the dramatic landing of a large commercial aircraft.

Certain conflicts are as common as the air we breathe.  The Battle of the Sexes is one of them.  To argue its’ origins, one would have to study examples such as the Ethiopian story of seduction of the Queen of Sheba by King Solomon.  Or look at the historic Sept 20, 1973 match when Billie Jean King defeated Booby Riggs.  A victory that spawned a movement for sure.  Did that victory give rise to this interoffice conflict?  Another argument.

Don't blink.  Seizures often cause unusual sensations, uncontrollable muscle spasms, and loss of consciousness for periods lasting three to five minutes.  Don't blink if the cause or symptoms are never discovered. Uncomfortable yet common in the medical space.  Professional seizures are much different.  We know the symptoms.  We need only to look at our string of decisions.

English is changing to keep up.  Seriously.  Recently, the sixth edition of the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary knocked the hyphens out of 16,000 words.  Words like Fig-leaf now read fig leaf, pot-belly is now pot belly, pigeon-hole ... you get the picture.  Over the last 30 years the hyphen has declined in usage and this shift is a reflection of the times and how we communicate.

In closing out this revealing series on trial and error, I promised to offer up an easy formula for your consideration.  Before I share such; I want to make it clear that unlike some of the politicians, preachers, professionals, and pundits - I don’t write as if my way is the way.  I have nothing to lose but ever so much to gain by understanding that your story/version is just as powerful [as mine] if not more so.  Feel free to share.

Trial and Error Tightrope

I started this series on trial and error with a strong one liner from a Baltimore Blogger (Dahgurl) and followed up with a quick piece about being stuck in a tunnel.  This series has caused several readers to weigh in with personal stories.  Some have even expressed a desire to excoriate peers that fail to appreciate their efforts.  



Remember, in all we do, our goal is to harass mediocrity.  One should not tire oneself looking for reward because of expended effort.  A focus on output is what gives successful people the room to roam.
