Leaders must boldly go where others are afraid to tread. Self image determines the goals leaders set for themselves and the size of those goals. The ability to set and achieve a goal requires definiteness of purpose.

Napoleon Hill speaks of definiteness of purpose in his classic, "Think and Grow Rich." Decide what it is you want and what you're willing to do to achieve the goal. Create a plan to get there. Break it down in steps.

You can build your self-image as you complete each small goal in while pursing the larger goal, which is just a series of smaller goals put together. Each successive step along the way gives you the encouragement to keep going.

Remember there are sidetracks; thoughts, events, people, circumstances and conditions that can cause you to temporarily become discouraged. Use these to course correct and get back on track. Persistance will win in the end.

What if instead of hunting people down until they begged you to
stop... pre-qualified prospects actually sought you out and asked you
what you do and how you do it?
