The search is underway for corporate sponsors willing to assist young people understand the importance of strong credit and money management skills through musical self-expressions.

Sponsors are being sought for a new youth economic literacy contest designed to help teach financial and money management skills to children of all ages.

The contest rules and guidelines can be viewed at http://www.rapliteracy.com/ is the brain-child of Donald L. Robinson, CEO of eSkills, LLC.

"We saw the needs of the youth and created a fun communication method using Rap Lyrics and layering it with the importance of financial literacy education.  Our program is designed to be implemented into any school setting or any youth community based program.  Our rap lyrics contest brings all youth together in a fun educational and arts enrichment friendly setting," explained Robinson.

With the aid of corporate sponsors, Robinson hopes to make a difference in many youth lives that have problems communicating, low self-esteem or are in need of artistic expression.  Research has proven that an art enrichment curriculum, particularly music, helps youth desperate for self-expression with their communication skills that instill pride and confidence.  Rap Lyrics Contest is intended to capture the mind of students while at the same time promoting less intimidating practices in the classroom.
