Million Father March Reaches Inland Empire



Grand Terrace, CA. 4Positive Knowledge announced today that it is seeking fathers to sit on the 2008/'09 Million Father March discussion panel during the August 9 event.

Held at the Carousel Mall in San Bernardino, the event is a national outreach effort by the Black Star Project to encourage fathers to take an active role in the education of their children, beginning with the first day of school and continuing until high school graduation. Additionally, the campaign, now in its fifth year and reaching over three million fathers in more than 400 cities, motivates fathers to stay actively involved in the lives of their children, even though their maynot exist a strong relationship with the mother. However, the march emphasis the importance of co-parenting.

The event will also feature discussion panels involving educators, community leaders, single parents, youth groups. As well as, support resources and exhibitors. The Inland Empire march is attracting attendees and attention from around the country.

Terry Boykins, founder of 4Positive Knowledge, will be the host of the event.
