Riley B. King, AKA, "B.B.," Was Born September 16, 1925, In Ita Bena, Mississippi.

B.B. King Is A Bona Fide Music Legend. For Decades He Has Carried On The Delta Blues Tradition --- Recording Coutless Blues Classics Which Include: "Sweet Sixteen," "Everyday I Have The Blues," "The Thrill Is Gone" And "Ain't Nobody Home." With His Guitar,Which He Calls Lucille, King Has Cut Over 50 Albums, Performed In 57 Countries And Won Numerous Awards, Including 5 Grammys.

On May 20, 1991, The Washington Post Announced That The Legendary Guitarist Was Among 16 Master Folk Artists To Win A $5,000 Fellowship From The National Endowment For The Arts (NEA). The NEA Chairman Referred To King As "A Living National Treasure ...Keeper Of Seasoned And Mature Artistic Tradition That Speaks To Us Across Hundreds Of Years."

In June 2008, B. B. King Was Inducted Into The Hollywood Bowl Hall Of Fame Alongside Liza Minnelli And Sir James Galway.
