Did you know that 70 percent of African-American women and 51 percent of Hispanic women are currently unmarried?  That's according to an article in the New York Times.  Meanwhile, 45 percent of white women (non-hispanic) and 40 percent of Asian women are unmarried.

Why is that?  Are more and more African American men ending up in prison?  Are they seeking holy matrimony with women from other races?  Or are black women choosing to be single?

I am happy to report that I am in the 30 percent of women who are HAPPILY married---although I had to do it twice to get it right!
