Blogging is hotter than ever. That is evident by the numbers. 175,000 new blogs hit the web every day. Unfortunately, most blogs go totally un-noticed by the general reading public. What that means is that bloggers have to work to get seen. It's not that hard really. Here are a few tips for getting your blog out there.

1. Connect with the world of blogging. Comment on other blogs. Become a guest blogger. And allow others to guest blog on your site.
2. Share tips from your blog on social media sites. Give just an excerpt of a post and encourage friends to "read more." When possible, make that read more a hot link back to your site.
3. Share your expertise on forums like this one. And whenever you post, sign off with a link to your blog.
4. Submit your blog to blog directories and carnivals.
5. Repurpose your posts into articles and submit to article directories.
