Black African American Motorist Beware:
Not turning on your lights when your wipers are on in rain, snow, or fog could mean a ticket and a $100 fine beginning Friday, January 1, 2010.
The violation is a secondary offense, meaning that motorists cannot be stopped or cited only for failing to turn on their lights. However, it can be tacked on to something else, such as speeding or another moving violation
A lights-on violation will be a minor misdemeanor punishable by up to a $100 fine plus court costs.
Economic Empowerment Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for Black African Americans to work toward Self-Empowerment and Self-Sufficiency.
1st We need a group of Black African American Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to design a device that automatically turns on lights when the windshield wipers are turned on, but will not automatically turn on the windshield wipers, when the lights are turned on.
2nd We need a group of Black African American MBAs to developed the business plan, which includes manufacturing the devices for retrofitting existing vehicles and to sell to new car manufactures.
3rd We need a group of Black African American Mechanics willing to be trained and willing to train others on how to properly install these devices on all types of vehicles.
4th We need a group of Black African American Attorneys to file the patent, negotiate the agreements, and address all legal issues regarding getting this product to the marketplace.
5th We need a group of Black African American Employees to be trained and employed. A criminal background will not be used as a barrier to deny them employment.
6th We need a group of Black African American Investors willing to invest the seed and startup capital to fund this project.
7th We need a 5,000 Black African American People willing donate $25 to help fund the launching of this project.
We have all the ideas, money, knowledge, skills and expertise within the Black African American Community to move toward self-empowerment and self-sufficiency. Ignore those whose purpose is to help maintain us in our current conditions. Judge them by their Actions or Inaction.
This is a great opportunity for Black African American Leadership to step forward to get something positive done. They must lead, follow or get out the way!
