A case is Florida in which a white teenager was caught hanging a noose in a black families yard has taken an odd turn. Local prosecutors want to charge the teen but under Florida law hanging a noose is not a crime. They can not even charge the boy with trespassing because the black family did not have a "No Trespassing" sign posted or a fence to keep people out of the yard.
