  • Politics Is Like Hiring A Hitman
    by Scott Woods inPolitical on2020-08-13

    For me, politics is like hiring a hitman. I have values and things I care about. I care enough about them to at least bother voting for 5 minutes every year for one issue or another. And because I care at least that much, I vote for people who align with the ability to realize the things I care about.

  • Fighting Racism
    by Scott Woods inOur Community on2018-10-25

    I had a boss who was racist. Not an outright bigot, of course; her toolbox was more subtle than most. We bumped heads a lot over inconsequential things. She frequently couldn’t keep my name out her mouth. Lot of gaslighting. You know…2018 style. I tried a lot of ways to combat or navigate her issues. Reads;

The words "nigger" and "negro" are derogatory terms used to describe Black people that has it's origins in slavery. "Necro" is a medical term that means “the dead,” “corpse,” “dead tissue", and was translated into "negro". "Negro" also is a Spanish term for "Black". Whether it's coming from a white person or a Black person, the n-word needs to be destroyed from our dialog and not used as a term of endearment. Every time you use that word you declare yourself and kind as dead people.

BOYCOTT U.L.L. ( University of Louisiana at Lafayette) Athletic Events!  The terms NIGGER and CAJUN are historically twin slur words!   Respect is not given but demanded!  Any demand requires overcoming resistance!  80% to 90% of ULL  athletes are Black recruits.  They are our children!!  We must guide and encourage them to Love their people and their community more than they fear White people or of losing a scholarship!   They MUST STAND STRONG and SAY, I WILL NOT PLAY IF I AM CALLED CAJUN!   If UL Black Athletes are Ragin Cajuns --Then Black Birds are WHITE DOVES!   FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!  You can get more details on the subject in the CALL TO ACTION CHAPTER of the recent book released, 'Black I am Cajun/Creole I am NOT!  !     http://blackiambookstore.net  -------

STAND-UP - AND BE COUNTED BLACK COMMUNITIES of SOUTHWEST LA. -- BLACK PEOPLE are NOT CAJUNS and CREOLE MAKE YOU A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN or distant sexually exploited cousins  to CAJUNS. The terms 'Nigger and Cajun' historically meant the same.  BLACK PEOPLE are the original people of the earth - MOTHERS and FATHERS of CIVILIZATION!

 KNOW THYSELF -- IF YOU WERE BLACK AND AFRIKAN YESTERDAY __ YOU ARE SURELY BLACK AND AFRIKAN TODAY!   UNLESS YOU DO SOMETHING UN-NATURAL TO YOURSELF__ YOU WILL BE BLACK AND AFRIKAN  TOMORROW.  CAJUN / CREOLE- IT JUST AIN'T US!

   The "Uncle Tom" character Mr. Samuel Jackson played in the recent move "Django Unchained" reflects much of the Black leadership behavior today in Southwest Louisiana.  How else, could Caucasians re-label entire Black communities , their history, and cultural  under the concept Cajun, the twin slur  term to Nigger, without any resistance from the knee slapping, tap dancing Uncle Tom so-called leadership.  They say," Masa Boss we is Creole Niggas is we?  We make no trouble for you Masa and gonna watch the trouble making Niggas for you Masa. Sleep well Masa, we got this! How sad!
