  • Politics Is Like Hiring A Hitman
    by Scott Woods inPolitical on2020-08-13

For me, politics is like hiring a hitman. I have values and things I care about. I care enough about them to at least bother voting for 5 minutes every year for one issue or another. And because I care at least that much, I vote for people who align with the ability to realize the things I care about.

I believe our vote is the punctuation of our voice. Without that resounding exclamation mark, I believe our voices are just incoherent noise.

There are many narratives that define the Black experience in America in this 2nd decade of the 21st century. Our striving over the centuries of our sojourn in this nation is a tapestry of every human experience -- oppression, enslavement, forced assimilation, dehumanization, exclusion, segregation, isolation, struggle, perseverance, achievement, excellence, celebration, mourning, despair, progress, setbacks, lynching, assassination, genocide, terror, self-hatred, low esteem, pride,...

  • Fighting Racism
by Scott Woods inOur Community on2018-10-25

I had a boss who was racist. Not an outright bigot, of course; her toolbox was more subtle than most. We bumped heads a lot over inconsequential things. She frequently couldn’t keep my name out her mouth. Lot of gaslighting. You know…2018 style. I tried a lot of ways to combat or navigate her issues. Finally I...

WELL, LOOK AT WHO'S CRYING NOW - THEN SUE ME!

Congress Sue President Obama To Stop Illegal Libya war

DEAR BLACK AMERICA 2011 AND BEYOND
WELL, LOOK AT WHO'S CRYING NOW - THEN SUE ME! It is just more evidence that black America is calling the shots in the 21st century and if white America wish to stop us then let them take it to the judge but until then we are driving this car.

Many black people have been institutionalized in their heads from being the underdog for the last eons of generations and the thought of us calling the shots blows their mind to the point of bashing, hating and undermining President Obama.

Black America take it from Enoch Mubarak and roll with it. Suck it up for all it is worth because we will not get another shot at this level and access to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

For generations and years if Black America did not like something we had to march, agitate and take it to the judge for justice but in the 21st century it is black America's turn to watch white America take it to the judge because otherwise we can't be stopped.

Black America is fornicating the cat in the 21st century and white America is just holding up the cats tail.

It is time for the back catcher to get 3 swings. Take your turn at bat black America, make it count for something.

Sincerely, Enoch Mubarak
